FXI Technologies is a technology startup dedicated to making the world of digital screens smart and personal. We are headquartered in Trondheim, Norway with operations in South Korea and California.

We develop software/hardware and manufactures any screen connected companion devices, which we market and sell to players in the TV/STB, home appliances, consumer electronics, content and carrier/operator markets We are enabling consumers to use the world of digital displays as the window to their cloud and other digital content, while enjoying a consistent experience from screen to screen.

Company history

FXITech is a spin-off from Falanx Microsystems, a revolutionary 3D graphics processor company which now is a part of ARM. The first FXITech patent was filed in 2005 after the founders of Falanx Microsystems realized that people wants Playstation3 quality graphics on their handsets, but getting graphics processors through the standard mobile phone value chains simply took too long. Since then the concept has evolved into putting complete application processors onto memory devices, such as the Cotton Candy. That is how we bring Extra Life to devices.
